The Heavy Duty Powerpress offers you a rear end loading Refuse Collection Vehicle capable of collecting containers up to 10m3 in capacity. The strength and durability of the Powerpress is unparalleled. This is achieved, while still offering you excellent payload capacity, regardless of the waste stream.
Our clients often require their vehicles to collect several different waste types, including General Domestic, Garden, Food and a range of other recyclables including Paper, Card, Glass, Metals and Plastics. Flexibility is key. Fraction Optimised Compaction means that a Variopress Refuse Collection Vehicle has the ability to intelligently compact the waste to utilise the full volume of the body, while ensuring the best possible payload.
The kinematics of the Powerpress’ tailgate, its heavy duty design and the increased compaction pressure, result in supreme performance when collecting any type of waste, from any size of container.
If you select the REL Skip Arm option, this will give you the ability to lift up to 3500kg with ease. The four chain system lifting system ensures stability of even the biggest containers, making the operation safe for your operatives. This option can also include an integrated bin lifter for wheeled containers, further adding to the Powerpress’ flexibility.
The latest Powerpress Refuse Collection Vehicles can achieve an additional 1m3 of body volume without changing the physical dimensions of the body and vehicle as a whole.
As the Powerpress is available from 18m3 – 30m3, it means that regardless of the operational or geographical challenges, you will always have a solution. The Powerpress MAX body increases the height of the body roof to give you even more body volume capacity, which is perfect when collecting less dense waste streams.
Along with the REL Skip Arm configuration, the Powerpress can, as an alternative, be assembled with our range of Zoeller Bin Lifts, supplied as an open back or prepared for 3rd party hoists if preferred.
