March and April have been non-stop for the team at FZUK. We have been busy expanding and onboarding new team members, committing ourselves to take on 5 new apprentices through 2023. We have already completed the first, so a further 4 more to go.
But we have also been busy being out and about and attending many industry events and meetings. Let’s look back at some of the events we have been attending.
Early March saw us attend the SAP Innovation Forum 2023; Stewart and Richard from the senior leadership team were networking, gaining insights, and hearing about innovations that are pathing the way for the future.
A week later, Ian and Stewart attended the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management event for the Cymru Resource Conference at the Glamorgan Cricket Club in Cardiff. We had a stand and were able to promote what we could offer as a business.
Then we had some “Superhero” team members at the Bartec User Group event at the British Motor Museum. A big thanks to our supplier Dragon Signs, for helping with the superhero wrap for the vehicle. It was a great conversation starter for Liz, who managed our stand.
It was then time for members of the senior leadership team, Stewart, Alun and David, to head over to Istanbul and visit our Group partner Hidromak—a successful mission to source additional products for some of our UK clients. We also had Jason and Matt visiting Semat in La Rochelle to learn more about the product range to enhance our support to our customers further.
As you can gather, we have been visiting and attending many events over the last few weeks, including welcoming many visitors through our doors at FZUK HQ. We are always finding ways to better equip our team with knowledge and insights and, most importantly, can network with other industry peers. It helps to bring further expertise and value to the business and the team.
